Transit of Mercury
We will have a public event at DSO Monday, 10 am - 1:45 pm, to view the transit of Mercury across the face of the Sun.  We do ask that you get a (free) ticket by going to this Webconnex site.
The next DSO Public Night is announced on the home page now.

The image at right is the "first light" color composite image taken the first night of use of the Dean Glace telescope. Dean took four separate images through red, green, blue and clear (for luminance), filters. Each image was 200 seconds long....
